How to get prepared for the Federal Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Mandate
Updated: Nov 6, 2020
As a result of the 21st Century Cures Act and Good Faith Effort Exemption, the Federal EVV Mandate requires payers to implement Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for all personal care services (PCS) by January 1, 2021.
To ensure compliance, accuracy of data, recipients receiving services, and providers to be paid for their services, visits need to be verified with a GPS enabled smartphone. Moreover, deploying a secure purpose-built EVV phone, LINK, is critical to comply with the 21st Century Cures Act by January 1, 2021.
January 1st is quickly approaching. Regardless of where a State is in the implementation process, Providers of services should start electronically verifying visits with LINK and a State approved application.
Few Simple Steps:
Order LINK, an enterprise smartphone built for electronic visit verification.
Select and download a State-approved EVV software application from the LINK Marketplace on the LINK Device.
Start verifying visits electronically for all personal care services (PCS).
LINK is the electronic visit verification industry’s partner in implementation. Regardless of where you or your State is in the implementation process, LINK is your tool to get ahead of the deadline.
