Ingram Micro Commerce and Lifecycle Services (IMCLS) brings over 40 years of mobile device industry experience to the EVV space and is a key partner in bringing the LINK device to market. IMCLS is helping enable the LINK device to enter the market as a cost-effective cellular data package from the nation’s largest Mobile Voice Network Operator (MVNO).
MVNOs allow devices to run on any network (e.g. Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.) and while major carriers have good coverage and towers all around the country, some are stronger in specific areas than others. Based on the zip code of use, LINK determines the best signal available and will connect with that carrier’s network. The result is that device users will have access to the most reliable data available in a given location.
LINK’s cellular data plans are packaged in low-data increments for EVV applications. Instead of paying traditional data charges on personal devices, LINK is designed to lower costs because it uses less data.
IMCLS and the MVNO are already trusted providers of the Lifeline Assistance Program and deliver millions of phones to Medicaid recipients (the same population that needs EVV). This experience ensures our ability to seamlessly deploy to and serve the EVV market.
IMCLS is proud to provide LINK with easy-to-manage data from their MVNO partnership to ensure recipients and their providers never have to worry about EVV tracking again.
